About the OpportunityOne of the largest financial holding companies in the United States needs a Vice President of Asset Servicing to provide custody, fund accounting, securities lending and other services to customers around the world. The business has annual revenues of over billion, a Balance Sheet of $40 billion and 12,000 employees. You will serve as the focal point for all accounting issues and work with Corporate Accounting policy, Controllers, and Business personnel to answer accounting questions and help establish polices and procedures that adhere to local (e.g. country where process is taking place) and US GAAP. Bonus potential Total compensation is up to 300K Company Description Nationally recognized bank Job Description Responsibilities for the Vice President of Asset Servicing include: Serving as the Asset Services liaison to the Corporate SOX team Defining critical SOX processes Assuring that procedures are SOX compliant and that documentation is complete Working with Asset Servicing personnel before/during SOX audits Reviewing monthly account reconciliations to validate that proper proof and control procedures continue to be followed Managing a small team of analysts to monitor and understand Balance Sheet and net interest revenue for Asset Servicing Explaining monthly variances in rates and volumes Preparing annual budget of the Asset Servicing balance sheet by major Business area Making recommendations and improvements so that Asset Servicing most effectively utilizes the Balance Sheet and maximizes net interest revenue Required Skills 10+ years of public/private accounting experience Asset Servicing experience CPA Desired Skills Custody experience MBA Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Vice President of Asset Servicing Job Category: Business/Strategic Management Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 150,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J49803
