WIND FARM PROJECT MANAGER

The Opportunities WIND FARM PROJECT MANAGER Provide day to day safe and successful operations management and supervision of the staff and associated contractors at the Wind Farm Project. Coordinate efforts of the on site power, SCADA and turbine technicians. Responsible for monitoring and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager on the output performance. Primary responsibility for site problem resolution in performance and land utilization issues. Monitor wind conditions, SCADA reports, turbine performance, maintenance schedules and staff performance reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. Participate in contract negotiations with sub contractors and other vendors for parts and services required for wind power installations. Set direction and measure performance of staff and site contractors. Local point of contact for land owners, local authorities and state agencies regarding environmental and contractual issues involving wind farm installations. The Qualifications BS degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 + years industrial site operations management in wind farms, utility or photovoltaic installations. In depth knowledge of utility regulatory requirements, power purchase contracts, operations management, financial reporting. Demonstrated ability to supervise and maintain high value industrial installations on-time and within budget. Above projected performance levels and quality. Proficiency with operations financial management, forecasting and controls.
