Do you enjoy working on complex software that involves systems design and requirements gathering, hands-on development, and advanced problem solving? We recently released V1.0 of our flagship RIA SaaS application and are adding 2 more server-side Java engineers to the team. New customers are being signed at the rate of a few per week, and multiple trial customers are added on a daily basis. Our offering allows businesses to forecast, model, and plan sales related activities. Our stack includes Flex on the front-end, Groovy/Java Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, and MySQL on the middle and back-end. You will have a chance to use and learn a lot of cutting edge technology. Skills & Technology: A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or related. 2-5+ years of professional experience. Strong Java experience. Experience with JDK 1.5 or 1.6 is desirable. Experience with Spring and Hibernate is desired. Experience with Groovy or similar rapid web development languages is also desired. Strong OO and CS fundamentals. Must be a team player and willing to work with and help others. We need more than just a heads-down coder. We need a designer and collaborator. A thinker. Previous startup experience is strongly preferred.
