91759 Windows Evangelist The company I represent is looking for a talented, enthusiastic software engineer who is self-motivated and hardworking, to join their Infrastructure team. This engineer will be responsible for driving the company's Windows development platform's future direction. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated hands-on experience developing robust applications for Windows based platforms. You are probably someone who is tied into the MS community of developers. You know "who is doing what" because you're blogging, reading, and demoing new Win32 tools or applications even in your spare time. You breathe the stuff!! Responsibilities: Identifying ways to improve the quality of our Windows offerings in the areas of integration with the desktop, startup performance, signal handling, threads, OS support, as well as others. Improve quality of existing APIs. Improve the usability of the product on Windows. Share Windows expertise with other teams. Qualifications: M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering plus 3-5 years of commercial software industry experience. Excellent knowledge of Windows, Developer Studio, and Windows application development. Strong OO design principles and C++. Solid hands on experience working with various debugging tools. Demonstrated project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have: Development for MS Windows Vista platform a plus. Familiarity with Intel assembly code a plus.
