Utilizing pro-active recruiting techniques, this candidate will source and screen scientific talent to fill immediate openings as well as pipeline for future opportunities.Yoh Scientific delivers high-impact talent and outsourcing services that accelerate customer success. We work with each customer on an individual basis to develop the proper mix of services, or staffing program, that best suits their unique needs. Position PurposeA recruiter is motivated and determined to uncover the "Best" candidate for the position. The recruiter is responsible for generating candidates for particular opportunities within a specific industry and geography. The recruiter is held accountable for personal production while contributing to the overall success of the business center. He can be reached at 518-690-4659 or by email at Clinton.Crellin@Yoh.com ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Recruit scientific professionals for positions within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries. - Interview applicants to identify and summarize relevant experience and hard and soft skills to assess applicant’s suitability - Follow up regularly with candidates and customers to maintain relationships to build knowledge of needs and opportunities - Maintain familiarity with the most effective recruiting tools appropriate to the industry to include: networking with active consultants, constructing availability lists, database searches, Internet searches, resume searches, other job boards, and organizations. - Create attractive and effective ads for the Internet, and other appropriate advertising mediums - Generate sales leads and work within the Yoh ModelKNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:- Strong commitment to customer service - Strong computer skill including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to multi-task - Great attitude and team player - Successful completion of background screening process- A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably experience recruiting scientific consultants in the contract or direct placement industry- Minimum one year of scientific experience or demonstrated scientific knowledge base- A BS/BA DegreeBenefits:As an employee of Yoh Scientific, you receive competitive base salary plus a lucrative bonus structure.
