Join this growing 40-person strong software company and help drive the development of a fantastically viral and scalable application. You will join a small team of 3 engineers responsible for developing an SDK for desktop (Win/Mac) and embedded environments. The client application supports communications using presence, IM, and 3D audio. You will drive the full life cycle of the application and will be part of a growing team of senior engineers. This OpenSource environment will expose you to a wide set of technologies and you will be expected to continuously gain and apply new knowledge while drawing on the depth of your past experiences. You should be ready to demonstrate a track record of delivering customer-quality code in a flexible but challenging environment. If you have had experience with project/application level integration of externally developed code and components, that's a plus. You should have a strong grasp in application field upgrades, diagnostics/error reporting, packaging, usability, and general supportability. Requirements: 3 plus years of experience in Windows Applications Development. C/C++ and learn C#. Successful delivery of fielded consumer grade applications. Plusses: Strong VS/xCode development skills. XML/HTTP/SOAP. Mac OSX programming. IP Protocol level expertise (comfortable running packet traces). IM protocol or client development experience. InstallShield/WISE or similar installers. Cross platform development (Unix/Mac/Windows).
