Sales/Retail/Business Development Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Company: Level 3 Reference Code: 7891 Account Director Requirements Contributes to Level 3's positioning as the premier communications solutions provider to the enterprise / corporate market. Identifies, bids on, negotiates, and closes new communications sales opportunities in the enterprise market segment in order to meet and exceed established quota. Seeks new business relationships as well as expands existing account relationships. We are looking for a highlty qualified "hunter" type sales person that has a good understanding of the telecom industry. This position will carry a 10k quota per month but will also carry a "building lite" quota. This potential candidate will benefit if previous telecom experience was "liting" buildings (i.e. - Cablevision Lightpath, TWTC...) Products suite would be layer two MPLS serivces, Internet and Data for mid range companies mostly in the Tri- State area. Essential Functions of this position would be the willing to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changes in product, pricing and implementation processes. Candidate must have a competative nature, be a good team player and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Duties and Responsibilities Identify new sales opportunities in designated target market. Propose and negotiate solutions to secure new sales for the Level 3 Enterprise Sales organization. Develop and manage client relationships for assigned accounts in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers and attain additional business and keep the competition at bay. Develop and implement actions to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall share of wallet," i.e. total customer spending with Level 3. Team with technical, engineering, customer service, and related support staffs to ensure end-to-end customer sales and satisfaction and thereby drive new revenue growth from satisfied customers. Continue to train and develop knowledge of new technologies and selling points, including enhancing expertise in data and voice application technologies. Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements. Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing accounts. Required: Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Experience in selling IP, data, and voice network services. Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales. Strong communication skills and proficiency in selling to the close.
