Account Executive (Atlanta II)

Position Description:

I. Position Objective Sell NuVox Communications solutions to major area businessesII. Position Activities1. Identify potential new prospects for NuVox Communications telecommunication solutions 2. Cold calling new prospects or leads provided by Marketing, Lead Agents and Premier Agents3. Travel and visit customer sites as required before and after the sale 4. Make sales presentations to new prospects5. Develop competitive proposals for new prospects6. Complete an accurate, complete sales packet with all closing documentation as specified on the Sales Checklist7. Complete legal contracts and obtain customer signatures as required8. Prepare and present a NuVox Closing packet to all customer during closing appointments9. Engage Sales Engineer for approval/right fit recommendation of Solution Sell and obtain approval on the accuracy and completion of a sales order.10. Identify up-sell opportunities within the AE's PAL accounts for new products and services11. Check existing customer eligibility (payment history) and current services prior to creating orders for additional services if the customer is in billing months 1-12 (AE) or 1-12 (SAE)12. Complete necessary proposals, contracts and other order forms for Level 2 MAC's as specified on the Service Add (or Upsell) Checklist if customer is in billing months 1-12 (AE) or 1-12 (SAE)14. Partner with the Account Managers/Senior Account Managers, if needed, on Renewal Orders for customers in the AE/SAE Performance Residual Base who require new or additional services or products15. Use SAT to record and report on daily sales activities 16. Use SAT to record and forecast sales revenue17. Understand and monitor Order status from MSS reports available on the Intranet

Qualifications:

Essential Skills2-3 years sales experience preferred not required2-3 years telecommunications experience preferred not requiredStrong interpersonal skillsPreferred SkillsVoice and Data telecommunications experienceBachelors degree or equivalent experienceStrong verbal/written communication skills
