NetVersant is currently interviewing for exceptional Account Executives with a strong working knowledge of the Avaya or closely related product line in the following locations:
GENERAL SUMMARY
Sales Executive position. Work with general guidance to develop opportunities for Avaya solutions to be sold in mid-size and large companies. Interface with Avaya, NetVersant and distributor lead programs and engage in personal prospecting strategies to uncover new sales opportunities. Create and deliver solution-based presentations to customers and prospects. Close the opportunities and participate in operations hand-off process.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ KNOWLEDGE Interact and communicate with and responds to existing customer base to identify and respond to sales opportunities. Network with other NetVersant lines of business to discover cross-sell opportunities. Schedule customer and prospect meetings to determine business needs and develop solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and internal departments. Meet or exceed established annual sales quota. Develop engineering requests and collaborate with design engineers to determine hardware/software configurations and implementation costs necessary for solution. Respond to Requests For Proposal and work with NetVersant RFP Response Center to develop bid responses. Follow up with leads and referrals. Deliver concise, organized, comprehensive presentations of Avaya solutions: Avaya Communication Manager Media Servers, Gateways, Modular Messaging, UCC, Contact Center, Interactive Response, Mobility Solutions and various Avaya Dev Connect or other approved 3rd party applications and services.
Must have at least 2 years of experience with the Avaya voice and data product line. Knowledge/ certification in IP networking, voice and data Ethernet switches, call center/ACD, and medium to large enterprise environments Experience with and expert knowledge of the market for products and services. Enterprise WAN/LAN understanding. Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
