Description & Requirements


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Develops implements and/or maintains one or a combination of general accounting systems. Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Performs accounts payable duties: Voucher vendor invoices, Process weeks check runs, Vendor maintenance, Resolve invoice discrepancies, Preparation and filing 1099's, Monthly A/P accrual based unvouchered invoices. Monthly end close including: close of A/P module, report generation and A/P reconciliation. Ensure A/P policies and procedures are SOX compliant. Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements. Maintains receipts and disbursement reports. May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns. May interpret reports and records for managers. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamix Payable module is a plus.

• JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
• SUPERVISION: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
• EXPERIENCE: Requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience
• EDUCATION: Requires a BSBA degree.
