Job Description Assoc Dir-Alternative Distrib p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities -Lead overall VZW strategy and execution within Strategic National Retailer, including the development of Marketing plans, Advertising strategy, promotion development, training, merchandising execution, and mindshare at the point of sale.-Driving sales improvement. -Grow VZW share of activations by assuring VZW exceeds competition in all facets. -Improve customer experience by evaluating processes of both VZW and Retailer.-Increase profitability by driving KPIs through promotions, offers, training, and advertising.-Interact with Retailer senior-level management to develop sales goals and growth initiatives. -Act as single-point-of-contact to channel partner for all business requirements.-Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to accomplish desired business objectives.-Support, coordinate and lead field sales teams to implement national and local objectives.-Ability to present to executive management for approval and implementation.-Negotiation with Retailer to achieve desired strategies and tactics. p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.5+ years of sales or indirect channel management experience.5+ years of retail experience or related knowledge of wireless industry.5+ years of indirect marketing and strategy.Graduate-level degree preferred.PowerPoint presentation skills.Leadership skills to set direction and work through others to accomplish objectives.Self-motivator who takes calculated risks and consistently demonstrates positive results.Competencies include strategic and critical analysis of business cases.Strong marketing and sales skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Executive-level management interaction.
