Job Description Associate-Indirect Distrib p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities This outside sales position is responsible for driving sales goals and objectives through strategic business partner relationships with their Indirect Channel partners (i.e. Wal-Mart, Target, etc.). Ensures retailer locations' KPI's are met and exceeded on a consistent basis. Partners with Retail District Leadership and Management team to develop and implement business strategies, as well as tactical plans to meet and exceed established sales, service and quality goals. As the subject matter expert, this person is responsible for providing ongoing business process leadership to Retailers on all VZW marketing, merchandise, compliance, systems and sales skills and techniques. Provides account management to Retailers within assigned territory.% Of Time Duties and Responsibilities45% Performance Management: Implements and monitors regional sales and incentive programs designed to drive Retailer productivity and meet or exceed established Key Performance Indicators. Audits Retailer sales results and KPI's to identify areas of opportunity to improve results on revenue growth, customer growth and churn reduction. Consults with Retail Leadership to implement location specific action plans for improvement. Communicates sales program results/effectiveness to the field. Remains abreast of key differences between VZW and competitor products and services, and communicates VZW competitive advantages to agents/retailers. Trains, coaches and educates Retailer employees on VZW competitive advantages, products and services, promotions, methods and procedures, and point-of-sale ordering systems. Provides both formal and one-on-one training sessions to ensure that agent/retailer store quotas are met and exceeded. 25% Merchandising / Collateral: Ensures that all merchandising and collateral is in compliance with company standards that position VZW as the industry leader. Audits to ensure that all signage, brochures, pamphlets, etc. are displayed properly. Coaches Retailer management and staff regarding importance of compliance measures and initiatives. Communicates promotions to agents/retailers, and drives VZW key performance objectives. 25% In-Store Sales Support: Observes store personnel's sales techniques and customer interaction, and coaches' employees on VZW selling strategies. Participates in Retailer store grand openings and special events. 5% Customer Retention: Maintains and grows existing customer base and manages churn. * All other duties as assigned. p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications " Associates, Bachelor's or technical degree preferred" 1-3 years of sales, marketing, training, and/or customer service experience." Prior experience in the wireless industry a plus." PC proficiency in Microsoft Office required." Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, persuasion, presentation and communication skills are required." The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision." Ability to work well independently and in a team environment." This position requires extensive travel throughout the assigned region." A valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required."
