Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Auditor for an opportunity located in Westchester, Illinois.

 

The Auditor, under direction of more experienced audit staff, is responsible for conducting and documenting moderately complex audit projects, and projects associated with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404).

 

Responsibilities include:

- Conducts audit work. 

- Assigned responsibility for audit areas ranging in complexity from simple to difficult. 

- Reviews the control environment to ensure that it adequately and effectively ensures: the reliability of financial reporting; safeguarding of company assets; compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; the efficiency and effectiveness of company operations. 

- Indentifies documents, evaluates and tests processes and controls.

- Conducts SOX 404 work. 

- Assigned responsibility for documenting key processes over financial reporting ranging in complexity from simple to difficult.  Identifies documents, evaluates and tests key controls. 

- Reports findings to management.

- Documents audit findings. 

- Develops and documents recommendations to address issues noted. 

- Presents findings to management.

- Involved in preparing audit plans, developing audit programs and assessing risks at the entity level.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline.

- CPA is desired.

- Must have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant audit experience.

- Strong analytical, written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic knowledge and understanding of fundamental audit concepts, practices and procedures.

- 50% travel to domestic and international locations.
