B2B Commercial Outside Sales Rep - East Bay

We need professional individuals with sales experience—door-to-door, business-to-business, telemarketing, or retail sales. You must have reliable public or personal transportation and a valid driver’s license to be able to work the extended but flexible weekday and weekend hours.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Sell and promote High Speed Internet service to small/medium-sized enterprise businesses by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment and referral solicitation in assigned territory. Prepare and execute subscriber sales application, arranging for installation date, collecting and remitting revenues as prescribed.
Increase sales, with attention to detail and follow through, by systematically reviewing and assessing assigned territory to insure that potential business customers are contacted on a prescribed basis. Maintain required record-keeping and reporting of commercial, sales, and service activities.
Demonstrate customer-driven attitude through excellent knowledge of products, services, rates, and represent the product and Company in a professional manner.
Up-sell and retain customers who are pending cancellations or change of service.

Required Skills:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of Technical School or equivalent work experience.
2 + years outdoor sales experience. B to B experience preferred.
Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets,
Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
Basic computer knowledge
Flexibility to work within non-standard business hours to ensure sales quota is met, and a warm and professional presentation style.
Valid CA drivers license, with a good driving record in accordance with Comcast’s safety practices.
Physical Requirements Frequent to continuous local travel
Frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.
Occasional to frequent walking
Occasional to frequent exposure to outside elements (perusal of construction sites of developers)
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
