Job Posting ID: 1306Working Location: Washington, DCEmployment Type: Full-Time RegularPosition Summary:This position is responsible for recording, reporting & invoicing of various products and services. These services require coordination with the Procurement, Engineering and Sales & Marketing Departments. These services and agreements include terms and conditions that may require special handling that can sometimes be very complex. In addition, this position assists in the preparation of mid-month and month-end revenue reports and other revenue reports as required. Critical Responsibilities1. Coordinate and manage monthly billing, invoicing, recording, and reporting of all Commercial Satellite Services contracts.2. Prepare monthly estimated revenue reports and variance analysis reports for management.3. Prepare credit/debit memos, journal entries, and customer correspondence as needed.4. Prepare ad-hoc billing, customer billing analysis, invoice mailings, adjustments, and other special projects as required.5. Operate automated system to record, report and invoice service revenue6. Respond to billing inquiries from customers and other staff.Important Responsibilities1. Provide ad hoc analysis of revenue reports as needed on these services.Minimum Requirements: Familiarity with service contracts and customer agreements . Familiarity with automated accounting and billing systems Experience with Microsoft Office Proficiency with accounting and billing systems: Oracle Financials and ScheduleAll Familiarity with revenue accounting principles. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines. Experience in understanding financial data and systems including invoice processing.
