Billing System Coordinator

Our client, located in the EAST end is seeking a Billing System Coordinator to join their team.  Medical and Dental benefits available after 6 weeks of employment. 

 

Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:

 

· Support ICOMS Billing software and file configuration for all existing systems

· Take the lead in user acceptance software and file configuration testing for new ICOMS releases

· Support ICOMS end user applications including:

o  Security

o  Billing Messages

o  Campaigns/ Promotional Pricing

o  Research/ Resolve Help Desk Tickets

o  Report Creation/ Maintenance

· Process monthly subscriber reports for Home Office

· Liaison between Convergys and districts to resolve open ICOMS problems

· Provide training for new ICOMS software features and releases

· Assist Manager, Billing Services with special projects as needed

· Act as liaison between Billing Department and Third Party vendors

· Other job duties may apply

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· Demonstrated expertise in ICOMS Software

· Proficient with AS/400 Query writing

· Minimum two years customer support or help desk experience

· Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

· Familiarity with billing systems

· Must be detailed oriented

· Cable television background preferred

· Strong  communication skills – (verbal, written, and interpersonal)

· Ability to handle multiple tasks

· Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

· Ability to travel as required
