Business Account Executive 1 (BAE1)

Position Summary: Responsible for generating revenue by closing sales. Sells products and services directly to end users primarily via face-to-face contact. Usually responsible for non-complex and easy to close sales. Operates under close to moderate supervision. Job typically requires high level of local travel.

MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)
- Convert inbound calls into commercial online and phone sales.
- Negotiate contracts with small and mid-sized businesses in designated territory.
- Identify new business opportunities, such as properties not currently doing business with Comcast
- Insure compliance with all accounting and operational systems
- Perform account management duties
- Prioritize daily work requirements to ensure maximum coverage for commercial customer call volume during high demand time periods.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and work experience.

- Experience:
- A minimum of (5) years sales experience; preferable in a commercial sales environment, utilizing effective sales and closing techniques.
- Ideal candidate has prior experience in online, phone, and/or technical related industries.
- Strong PC skills including MS Word, Outlook, Access, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to support multiple priorities and sales people.
- Cable and/or communications background a plus.
- 6 months successful track record of sales (telesales preferred); professional demeanor, positive can-do attitude, enthusiastic, energetic and motivated.
