Location: Foester City, CA 94404 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Pay Rate: 70,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD /year Business Development Manager Broad Content Company's Ecosystem is critical to our success in providing the best technology complementors to our customers and Licensees. The Ecosystem Business Development team drive a number of initiatives with key accounts to ensure our Ecosystem continues to drive Quality, Availability and Innovation. The Business Development Manager, Ecosystem (BDM) is responsible for managing and developing relationships towards a number of key Ecosystem Accounts and for driving a technology segment strategy. The BDM will work closely with other departments within the company such as Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services and Sales in the execution of the role. Key Tasks Ø Defining (or contributing to) and driving a Strategy in one of key technology segment areasØ Maintaining a knowledge base of account technology developments and market trends relevant to company's core business and the account base/segmentØ Business Development activities to drive initiatives into key accounts as well as identifying and closing business with new accountsØ Commercial, legal and financial responsibility for key accountsØ Coordinating all activities between accounts and stakeholders Ø Evangelism of the company's platform and Ecosystem programs to ensure we maintain the variety of complementors within our EcosystemØ Ensuring the accounts understand the architectural requirements of the platform for optimal performanceØ Sharing roadmaps and feeding back future device advances to Product Management teamØ Engage with accounts on advance technology development and discussion to innovate and keep OS as leading edgeØ Representing account’s interests for internal company initiatives such as hardware reference platforms, reference designs, hardware adaptation, etcØ Work closely with accounts to optimise and streamline combined deliveries and/or information flow regarding customer projects.Ø Coordinate joint customer requirements and communications, including joint marketing, PR, representation at eventsØ Identification of new program developments to improve Ecosystem programsØ Generation of weekly and monthly activity reports and presenting to other stakeholdersØ Meeting/Event, scheduling and organisation Skills:Ø Good written and verbal communication.Ø Comfortable presenting at all levels in the organisationØ Ability to work unsupervised, self-starterØ Time management Disposition:Ø Can work in a rapidly changing environmentØ Takes ownershipØ PersonableØ Enjoys travelØ PragmaticØ TenaciousØ Strategic thinker Qualifications:Ø Technical degree (Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, Science etc) 2:1 (or above) Experience:Ø Commercial role in sales, account or product managementØ Proven commercial experience in technical software industry or similar experienceØ Proven commercial experience in defining and driving technology and marketing strategiesØ Software and/or hardware developmentØ Technical project management & planningØ Working within an organisation with accredited quality procedures (ISO9000, CMM etc)
