Our top client is now positioned to focus on their vision of converging their unique wireless and Internet wire line assets to create an entirely new suite of mobility and IP-based products and services for their customers.Currently they are looking for “Business Practices Data Analyst” at Hartford, CT for a Permanent Position.This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing team and work in a progressive environment.Please contact ASAP with job No: 11950DESCRIPTION: Provide analytic support to the Corporate Legal and Business Practices Operations including data extraction/manipulation, analysis and reporting from a range of enterprise and functional applications. Analysis to include data quality reviews, application testing, trend identification, and variance research. • Business owner of reporting functionality within matter management and e-billing applications. Perform data quality reviews / audits within existing applications and as part of upgrade / implementation testing. Identify and implement consolidated and streamlined reporting to enable user-based reporting. Generate periodic standard and ad hoc reports. • Business owner of litigation data analysis process including selection of data repository, reporting tool and data reporting / analysis in response to Litigation Best Practices requirements. • Business owner of data analysis process for business practices issues and matters, to include all data streams (e.g., business practices matters in Ethics Advantage, Ombudsman/DIALOG matters in Ethics Advantage, ethics items in Employee Survey results, and ethics items in audit reports). Use ACE and other tools to identify targets of opportunity for improvements in operations and systems. Combine inputs from various data streams, seeking leading indicators with respect to nascent issues. • Three years data reporting / analysis experience. • Two years experience within a law firm or corporate legal department (preferred but not required). • Expertise with Excel including pivot tables, macros, and data imports. • Experience with PowerPoint chart generation. • Experience with database and reporting software including data import and manipulation, SQL querying and table joins. • Reporting experience with legal litigation matters including spend and UTBMS activities (preferred but not required). • Strong analytical skills; ability to identify data anomalies, trends and opportunities. • Writing skills for creation of standard work / documentation of procedures. • Ability to partner with colleagues in analyzing and improving business processes. Candidate Must Have : Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or information technology.
