POSITION: CAD DESIGNER
The CAD Designer uses AutoCAD equipment and software to prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Grounding Plans and Civil and Electrical Details) from rough or detailed sketches or notes or from prepared land surveys provided by Architect and/or Engineer. Further, the CAD Designer may be required to perform field measurements at wireless communication sites to ascertain accurate dimensions and a sketch of the existing site conditions for use in developing the site design.
The ideal candidate will have experience on the design of wireless telecommunication sites including collocations, water tank, rooftop, raw land sites for new site builds and site modifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Two plus years experience working with AutoCAD 2000 in an Engineering environment – wireless telecommunications preferred.
AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent related experience.
AutoCAD 2000.
Wireless site design strongly preferred – however work on site development projects (site plan, grading plans, landscape plans and civil details, etc) in a consulting engineering environment is also a plus.
