CT5 Network CommTech - Headend

Responsible for the installation, set-up, and troubleshooting of signal processing equipment for video, telephony, and high-speed data services within the network facility. Oversees the daily operation and maintenance of communication facilities, including: digital, interactive and master facility hubs, in order to maximize performance of video, voice and data networks. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
The work schedule for this position will be W - Sat 8AM - 7PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Minimum of 3-5 years of telecommunication experience. Must be at least a CT4. Previous headend experience preferred.
? 3-5 years experience in:
– Voice-data network
– Telephony
– Video Systems
– Hybrid Fiber Coaxial systems
– Optical networks
– Basic TCP/IP configuration
? Working knowledge of video systems, earth station operations, HFC and basic TVRO.
? Understanding of general wiring practices.
? Knowledge of AC/DC electricity theory and related safety requirements.
? Must have manual dexterity, good math and electronic troubleshooting skills, as well as exemplifying good judgment.
