Call Center- Billing Rep (Part-Time)

The Concord Call Center is looking to hire 18 additional Part-Time Billing Reps for a May New Hire Class!

The Billing department is now open from 7am – 8pm, Monday – Saturday, closed on Sundays. The shifts for these part-time(25 hours/week) positions may include Saturday's and holidays. You must be completely flexible with your schedule- NO EXCEPTIONS!

Additionally you will be required to attend comprehensive job training Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm for the first 4-5 weeks of employment.

The strongest candidates will possess at least one year of customer service and sales experience within a retail or call center environment. There are sales and performance quotas to be met. The base salary is $12.80/hour plus commissions and company benefits are available.

The core responsibilities of the Billing CAE is handling a high volume of primarily bill related calls, covering a full range of customer services in a prompt and professional manner, obtaining all information for resolution of the customer's transaction in accordance with Comcast's established quality and customer
service interaction policies and procedures.

- Answers customer questions regarding billing related issues, products and features
- Resolves delinquent account balances
- Performs billing and posting of customer accounts
- Corrects errors and discrepancies on customer billings as necessary
- Accurately prepares the appropriate work orders
- Use and navigate through multiple internal systems to retrieve relevant information for resolving billing issues
- Partner with Lead or Supervisor for complex inquiries
- Identify opportunities for new and/or upgraded product offerings
- Assess for customer's interest and needs for "needs based" sales opportunities of Comcast products and services
- May be responsible for assessing service and/or sales calls for billing relevance and escalating or transferring as appropriate
- Represent Comcast in a professional and positive manner in all situations, complying with all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or GED is required. Some completed college coursework preferred, but not required
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills necessary for success in communicating with a highly diversified customer base
- Solid written communication skills
- Prior experience with and ability to maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality
- Ability to type fluently
- Prior experience in an environment dealing with a diverse customer base, directly or indirectly, is required
- Standard PC functionality (including use of MS office programs) knowledge is required
- Demonstrated ability and comfort with maneuvering through databases
- Previous sales experience a plus
- Previous billing and/or call center experience a plus
- You may be required to work weekends, holidays, or off-hour shifts
- Frequent to continuous sitting
- Occasional standing and/or walking
- Frequent to continuous use of hand movement when working at a computer
- Rare lifting
- Frequent to continuous use of standard office equipment including computer, mouse, telephone, etc
