Job Description:
We are currently seeking applicants for a newly established Call Center Sales Engineer position. The selected candidate will service the Southern Eastern Seaboard (Baltimore to Atlanta) and:
Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert for Avaya Contact Center solutions.Gathers information and requirements from customers and partners to formulate and document suitable Avaya Contact Center solutions. Develop and deliver technical sales presentations on contact center solutions and services.Prepare call center proposals for customers and provides assistance as required to close deals and finalize contracts.Support pre-sales activities for complex contact center applicationsResolve problems with products and services.
Qualification Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:Possess a Bachelors Degree in a related field.Have 5+ years of technical Contact Center experience Have a thorough knowledge of and proficiency with the following products and solutions:
- Avaya Call Center Software
- Avaya Call Management System and Avaya IQ reporting
- Avaya Interactive Response and Avaya Voice Portal
- Contact CenterExpress and Interaction Center
- NICE call recording and quality monitoringPossess the ability to solve complex technical and selling situations with proposed resolutions. Have a comprehensive knowledge of hardware and software i.e.: operating systems, databases, ACD, IVR, desktop applications & development, networking. Have extensive experience in CTI, PBXs, ACD’s, IVR, VoIP, Email Response, Client Server Architecture, Databases, CRM, Call Center Operations, Workforce Management, Call Recording. Have outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Have strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.The ability to work independently with minimum supervisionPossess intellectual curiosity and the desire to keep up with new aspects of the business and technology.Be able to travel overnight as required.
