Circuit Provisioning Specialist

Position Summary:A Circuit Provisioning Specialist processes all local and long distance circuit orders, calling card, toll free, CNAM, CLID, DADL and Local Number Portability requests. The Provisioner's responsibility involves heavy coordination and interface with various departments and vendors that are both internal and external to Cypress. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: ** Review and provision circuit orders and disconnects through various vendors. All orders should be processed or clarified back to the field within 48-hours of receipt. ** Utilize MBOSS, Vendor Management, IBS and other systems to ensure customer information is provisioned and billed accurately. ** Track orders and provide milestone status to the field to coincide with established vendor intervals. ** Act as a liaison between the field and vendors on circuit provisioning issues. ** Provision Cypress provided and ported numbers with our 911 service provider. ** Order and Manage Toll Free numbers. ** Ensure circuit and Billing Telephone Number information is recorded accurately in the Vendor Management system. ** Escalate past due orders with appropriate vendors. ** Provide timely and accurate updates into the order tracking systems. ** Responsible for reviewing orders for accuracy and feasibility. ** Responsible for providing order status to the field in a timely manner. ** First level escalation point of contact on all jeopardy and clarification issues with vendors. ** Requires heavy interaction with the Field Sales and Network Operations organizations. ** Required to have frequent vendor contact to keep orders flowing through the process. Knowledge and Skills:** Desire at least 1-2 years of Telecommunications Provisioning experience. ** College degree preferred.
