Client Manager
FORWARD ALL RESUMES TO: baburns@verisign.com The Client Manager is responsible for driving new revenue and partnerships for VeriSign’s Enterprise and Mobile Content Delivery Network (MCDN) Services. Specific responsibilities include building customer relationships in order to win follow on program business, and leading the development and execution of the business development strategy, plans, and initiatives associated with clients interested in delivering products and services (e.g. applications, downloads, messaging, alerts, etc) to North American wireless subscribers. Responsibilities· Manage day-to-day interactions on multiple client relationships in such a way that increases gross profit, improves client satisfaction, and sets the extended delivery team up for success.· Develop and manage relationships with clients in order to win their follow on program business and to provide guidance and expertise in helping customers to develop their business.· Independently synthesize strategy, plans, and solutions in a dynamic environment that includes Product Engineering, Project Management, Carrier Relations, Contracts/Finance, and Business Development organizations.· Cultivate and maintain relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners to develop new opportunities, joint business plans and value propositions· Provide client forecasting and planning on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis. Actively prepare reports, develop account and market plans, and maintain CRM satisfaction status. Qualifications· A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MBA preferred.· Minimum 7 years of Client Management/Account Management experience in technology, preferably wireless telecommunications.· Understanding of wireless carrier technologies. · Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships with all levels and functions of the company.· An understanding of internet technologies including wireless messaging, SMS, PSMS, mobile marketing, content management, content delivery, e-commerce, electronic marketing, personalization, portals, and the key players in the market.· Ability to effectively deal with various levels of customer organizations, including C-level.· Outstanding organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills.· Ability to resolve complex issues and problems at a both a commercial and operational level.· Ability to operate effectively in a highly entrepreneurial start-up environment.
