Client Server Dev/Analyst I
Designs simple elements of business logic for the client/server application. Essential Duties and Expectations: Design simple business process specifications, system reports, simple businessprocesses Design and develop elements or portions of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) andscreens (i.e., screen pathways/processes, windows, dialogues, menus, toolbars,simple GUI prototypes) Develop and execute test plans for basic software enhancements and changes Research and stay current on client/server related issues and technologies Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: Knowledge of client/server development principles and methodologies Knowledge of applicable programming languages (i.e., C, COBOL, SQL, VisualBasic) Knowledge of applicable operating systems (i.e., DOS, Windows, UNIX) Capable of managing multiple priorities Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook Time management and organizational skills Knowledge of software life cycle models, phases, and activities Moderate level of written, verbal and group communications skills Ability to work cooperatively with technical and business personnel in a jointapplication development approach Education and Experience Requirements: College degree in a Technical or a related field and 0-2 years professionallevel experience; or 4+ years professional level related Technical experience;or an equivalent combination of education and professional level relatedTechnical experience required. Desired Qualifications: Comprehension of wireless industry concepts and the structure/responsibilitiesof Alltel s internal organization Technical and/or functional knowledge of various tools, software and hardware inthe industry Comprehension of work area relevant concepts and structure responsibilities ofthe applicable internal Alltel organization.
