Client Solutions Manager (Pre-Sales Engineer)

We have an immediate opening (Regular Full-time employment) located at our US office in New York City.

 

Key Roles:

Provide quality pre-sales technical support and consultancy to customer projects.

To work with Sales team to provide network solutions and customization for bid response and RFP proposals.

Participate in convincing customers in network solutions superiority and cost effectiveness in order to win Bids/RFPs/Proposal Acceptance and Close sales deals. 

Work with both internal and external parties to facilitate end to end solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Work jointly with Sales team on requirement studies and analysis.

Communicate with Product Houses, Operations Teams, and Vendors to facilitate end to end solutions.

Feedback with objective to help product house enhance existing product offerings as well as customize solutions to meet customers’ specialized needs.

Ensure feasibility of project through activities such as discussions, simulations, testing and validations.

Be responsible and accountable for proper hand over on project for implementation to Project Engineer.

Assist in preparing proposals or handling RFP/RFQ.

Document lessons learnt on Intranet to promote sharing of information.

Work with HQ on customized support requests and cross border projects.

Render support and suitable answers to ST-USA customer accounts for after sales enquiries.

Any other work responsibilities assigned by Sales Director.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Prior Telecom experience with WAN and/or MAN providers; understanding of WAN/MAN protocols (i.e. IPLC, Frame Relay, ATM, IP-VPN, MPLS, X.25, SONET/SDH, PSTN, ISDN, etc.); understanding of Layer 1,2 and 3 of the OSI model; solid interpersonal and communication skills sets for internal and external client base; ability to perform Public speaking and effective presentational skills for clients and peers; ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Outlook.

 

Highly Desirable Skills:CCNA/CCDATCP/IP knowledgeLAN experienceOther Trade certifications/Diplomas in LAN/MAN/WAN fieldBilingual ability



Non-Technical Skills:

Mathematical ability; English (speaking and writing skill sets); analytical and critical thinking ability; able to work under pressure and during different hours/time zones as needed/required by project; able to work effectively with different cultural requirements and skill sets; initiative and proactive nature with little direction desired; able to present and speak to and in front of clients and addresses questions/concerns in a concise and articulate manner.

 

Education:

B.A. and/or B.S. in related or semi-related field of study.



 

Experience:

Three years minimum experience in the field with at least two years in a Pre-Sales Engineering role.

 

 

Base Salary + Commissions.
