Commercial Sales Account Executive

Position Summary:  Increase sales of technology products to new, former and existing small business customers.  Consult with customers and prospects to promote the breadth of products and services within the assigned area. Learn customers’ short term and long-term needs and recommend products and service applications to meet those needs. This position will require excellence in consultative selling to develop customer understanding of the benefits of our products and services as compared to the competition.

 

Major Duties:

· Demonstrate a strong understanding and enthusiasm around technology, promoting and selling offerings to small business customers in designated territory. 

· Effectively communicate to and develop rapport with customers to facilitate the evaluation of customer’s potential product needs to make appropriate recommendations.

· Maintain customer relationships and grow revenue from existing accounts.

· Self-generate leads for sales to increase incremental new business.

· Independently establish and organize daily sales initiatives, and reporting of all sales and service activities.

· Meet with prospects to increase customer understanding of companies products and pricing models, as well as competitive advantage over competitors.

· Prepare and execute presentations and proposals for prospective customers.

· Follow up on leads and referrals provided by existing customers in a timely fashion.



· Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives within the guidelines as established by management.

· Be punctual to and attend sales meetings as required.



· Demonstrate professional conduct and appearance.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.

 Core Competencies:

· Proven salesmanship and cold calling skills.

· Organized, self-motivated and work independently within established guidelines.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, vertical communication, analytical and written skills.

· Ability to successfully adapt to a changing environment.

 Minimum Qualifications: 

 

· Two to five years of successful sales experience selling business to business preferred.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.

· Must have strong closing ability, organizational, analytical, and evaluation skills.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. 

Extensive travel within the state.
