Communications Consultant

Position Summary:Serve as the primary contact to assigned customers for user training. Provide proactive customer support during installation and training, resulting in increasing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Conduct on site customer meetings to coordinate installation of Cypress products and gather critical information for completion of phone templates, cut sheet and telco orders. * Develop/prepare customer training curriculum and customized materials for training session. * Schedule and conduct individual or group training sessions. * Provide support during installation including system testing as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of installs. * Adheres to method of procedures, effectively complies with safety requirements for area of responsibility and maintains service quality at all times. * Work flexible hours which may include after hours training as assigned. * Other duties as assigned by supervisor Knowledge and Skills:* Knowledge of Nortel equipment is preferred. * Experienced with programming line side on Nortel PBX * Knowledge of VoIP platform is a plus. * Must possess excellent organizational, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of attention to detail. * Requires demonstrated superior customer service skills. * Experience with training and formal presentations preferred. * Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Outlook mail system is a must. * At least three years experience in a customer service role, preferably in telecom.
