Customer Sales & Service Representative (Cable Store)

In this job, you will be the face of Comcast through our Cable Stores in the Greater Seattle Area (North Seattle, Lynnwood, and Redmond.) Major Duties: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)
•Acquire new customers and upgrade current subscribers by educating customers on Comcast’s products and services.
•Consistently meet sales quota and goals set by management.
•Handle full range of customer services in a prompt and professional manner, including resolution of billing and equipment inquiries/problems, and changes to subscriber account information and services.
•Represent Comcast in a professional and positive manner at all times.
•Demonstrate courtesy and patience in customer relations.
•Resolve customer disputes, research misapplied payments and missing converters.
•Reconcile and file equipment slips daily.
•Process cash, check, and credit card payments for subscribers. Balance cash drawer and payment receipts daily.
•Provide general information to subscribers concerning cable services, rates and policies or refer to other personnel as appropriate.
•Perform additional duties such as special projects, mailing remotes, cross-training with other departments, etc as assigned.
•Ability to work overtime as needed.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Must have punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Required Skills:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED and 2 to 4 years customer service/sales experience, or Associate’s Degree and 1-2 years sales/customer service experience or Bachelor’s Degree.

EXPERIENCE:
Written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and problem solving skills. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance as well as the ability to work overtime as needed is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to sell Comcast Digital Voice, High Speed Internet and all Digital Services to our customers. Demonstrate courtesy and patience in customer service. Ability to listen and interpret the needs of customers. Ability to use personal computer and software applications. Ability to resolve a variety of customer issues. Cash handling experience.
