Whether your technical skills are currently limited to mastery of your cell phone features OR you built your own PC when you were twelve, you will participate in comprehensive paid training lasting several weeks or more prior to actual customer contact. But that’s not all! Your development is ongoing…training is an essential part of your experience at Alorica. • Whether you are just starting your career or you are taking your career in a new direction, opportunities for advancement are abundant. Many of our management staff started in the agent position. If supervision isn’t your interest, you might challenge yourself to grow internally by learning to service our more technically complex client accounts. • It’s fun! The dress code is business casual but the pace is fast. It’s a high energy, creative, entrepreneurial environment. • In addition to health and time off benefits, you’ll be eligible for tuition reimbursement, and more! And, since we are available to customers 24/7, you may find a schedule that compliments school or other commitments. Responsibilities Our clients include top-tier, brand name companies in electronics, wireless services, and other consumer products industries. You will provide customers with information and technical support for client products or services (we’re talking computers, dvd players, audio systems, tvs, digital cameras, cell phones and more), resolve billing questions. Your job is all about simple to complex research and problem resolution so that our clients’ customers fully utilize and value the product or service they’ve purchased. Interaction with customers is primarily phone-based via incoming calls. However, you may also use a variety of communication tools such as e-mail, fax, and Internet live chat. Whatever the mode of interaction, you will need to come across with clear, effective verbal and written skills and a friendly, upbeat style. Qualifications Think it might be a fit? Are you looking for a place to get started in a consumer products or service industry? Maybe consider trying to move up within the Alorica management ranks? First, you’ll need a HS diploma or GED, basic keyboarding skills, and availability for weekend and holiday shifts. Technical aptitude is a plus, but not required for all positions! Naturally, you’ll need to demonstrate good listening skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You’ll need to prove that you are reliable—we’ll be counting on you. Apply now!
