Data Network Installer

Work closely with Data network engineers to deploy head end routers and switches at customer sites across northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania (travel involved) Install Ethernet access nodes at customer premises Part of team that will migrate existing business customers to new fiber commercial grade network Working to transfer all business related traffic to new fiber backbone network made up of Tellabs equipment to separate cable and internet traffic from business grade customer traffic

Associate degree in engineering, electronics, or data networks or 1 year experience in a related technical field Ability to work in a team environment and work with minimal supervision Ability to multitask and prioritize work Good communication skills to work with customers, engineers and data technicians to solve issues and manage conversion to new backbone network Proficient using a computer to work in several programs simultaneously Cisco or/and Tellabs routing and switching understanding - configuration experience would be a big plus Tellabs 310 router expertise a huge plus Previous rack and stack and cabling of data CPE equipment at multiple sites Previous technician work in enterprise environment
