Our top client is now positioned to focus on their vision of converging their unique wireless and Internet wire line assets to create an entirely new suite of mobility and IP-based products and services for their customers.Currently they are looking for “Database Administrator II ” at Reston, VA for a 3+ months contract.This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing team and work in a progressive environment.Please contact ASAP with job No: 11702DiscriptionDatabase Administrator II is responsible for monitoring space usage, starting up and shutting down databases, diagnosing errors, administering distributed databases and developing automated backup procedures.Skills:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES-Develop new web-based applications as identified by internal customers and S&R.-Customize packaged web applications to meet business needs.-Maintain and enhance existing web-based applications (custom and purchased) as identified by customers and S&R.-Maintain production and development web programming and database environments.-Test and perform complete quality assurance evaluation on all intranet and intranet applications (custom and purchased).-Provide mentoring and professional guidance to junior team members.-Complete life-cycle development documentation for all projects.-Provide programming team technical and functional team leadership and technical direction.-Develop databases using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005.-Develop SharePoint environment to support the business-Develop web reports in Reporting Services to support the business-Provide effective communications and coordination with team and customers.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS-6 to10 years of experience in a medium- to large-sized corporate environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity of projects and applications.-Previous experience building web services built using Visual Studio 2005.-Previous experience with SharePoint 2003 or 2007 is a plus.-Thorough understanding of systems development methodology best practices.-Experience with HTML, DHTML, CSS, ActiveX controls, Java, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, IIS Configuration, and other web-based technologies in the production and publishing of intranet and / or intranet websites.-Experience in development web applications using Visual Studio 2005.-Experience with creating and interacting with SQL database systems.-Strong attention to detail.-Excellent written and verbal communications skills.-Project management skills including planning, requirements gathering, and project team coordination.-Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in an ambiguous and / or changing work environment. -Ability to work additional hours as needed.CONTACT:The most effective way of communication is via email please forward us your updated WORD FORMAT resume (Address, Contact number and email is must) to/// sim.naik @ makrotech.com Or Call @ 973-481-0100*3080Please mention your best hourly rate, availability and visa status.
