Job Title: Development Integration Manager

 

Location: The position is located in Mt. Laurel, NJ

 

Job Description:

 

The Development Integration group is responsible for integration of all subsystems and components of the various deployment modes of the billing systems – Converged, Postpaid-only, Prepaid-only, etc. The manager must have an excellent understanding of the overall system architecture and the design of its various components, subsystems, and capabilities. The manager also needs to have working knowledge of all sub-system configuration and provisioning of the converged system.

 

This is a highly technical and hands-on position. The employee must have a well-rounded computer engineering background. A broad knowledge of many areas of computer systems is needed --- distributed computing, various operation systems, databases, SW architecture, HW architecture, real-time systems, and high-availability systems. The manager will oversee or lead a team of development integration engineers focusing on a set of functional areas. The manager also will work very closely with the development team and the architecture team on an ongoing basis to identify, report and resolve any integration issues. 

 

·  Direct software integration activities across different development organizations. Provide technical leadership to the team members.

·  Identify interfaces and integration points in the overall system, working with architecture and development team to ensure their proper analysis, design and implementation.

·  Oversee adherences of deliveries to documented interfaces and integration flow/scenario during the development cycle.

·  Design, implement and execute comprehensive Development Integration Test to validate major end-to-end flows and the basic functionality of the features are working as product specification.

·  Assist Development in the design, planning, support implementation of unit integration and sub-system integration tests.

·  Design and develop tools/simulators needed for interface testing.

·  Analysis of software problems related to interface and integration points. 

Job Requirements:

 

·  Integration and problem solving experience with system-wide view, from end to end.

·  Working Knowledge of the following areas:

Required: Linux/Unix & Oracle DB & Script languages (shell, Perl, etc)

Preferred but not required:

·  Web Server technologies: (Apache) & Client technologies: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript

·  Network knowledge (HTTP/UDP/TCP)

·  Java, C++

·  Overall system knowledge (both functional and architectural) for RTBS or FX.

·  Highly motivated, self driven, team leader with proven interpersonal and communication skills.

·  Strong analytical skills and fast learner.

·  Working knowledge of converged billing system configuration of all software
