* FOCUS-AREA REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
-> the ideal candidate will have expertise in digital video systems -- equipment and protocols such as DVB, ASI ird, encoder, muxes, and with digital vvideo broadcast equipment.  The individual will ALSO have experience in network management systems including network monitoring, SNMP, MIB's etc.  Individuals with this type of experience from satellite, cable, or telecom are encouraged to apply.

* JOB DESCRIPTION:
this role will design, oversee development, and manage the development of a new digital video network management and monitoring system for our clients digital video broadcast systems.  This will include tasks such as...
-- Evaluate broadcast devices
-- Evaluate network management systems
-- design systems interfaces (MIBS, SNMP traps, and service modules) to architect, develop, and implement a global digital video network management system.

* SKILLSETS:
The candidate should have a mix of skillsets including network management, network administration, systems engineering, and customer service and support.  Excellent people skills are as plus.

* RELOCATION: Candidates ideally will reside in the Los Angeles area although relocation candidates may be considered if the relocation cost is not excessive.

* LOCATIONS: Los Angeles CA area
