As a Direct Sales Manager with Clearwire you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of account executives to sell Internet service as astounding as the Internet itself. You will have full accountability for sales within your assigned territory. This position will require you to spend the majority of your time developing account executives thru field training, regular sales one on ones and team meetings, and providing coaching to hit sales objectives.Success in this position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, experience building a direct sales strategy, and a passion for recruiting, coaching and developing sales professionals. We value the contribution of our partners, reward their achievements, and promote from within.Job Responsibilities: • Provide daily direction, sales training and guidance to a team of account executives while retaining a winning team of entrepreneurial and aggressive sales reps.• Lead daily sales team meetings.• Manage individual sales rep daily activity, including:o Sales presentationso Closing skillso Knowledge of competitiono Customer contactso After sales follow upo Outbound/Inbound Telemarketing• Maintain a pipeline of potential employees by continuously prospecting for new talent.• Create and manage daily/weekly/monthly sales activity reports.• Manage and motivate team to capture sales opportunities through community events, retail partnerships, support of B2E activities.• Establish strong relationships in local community.• Provide field coaching and develop sales reps.• Manage individual rep funnel activity daily, including contacts, presentations and sales.• Motivate your team to capture sales opportunities through in person community events, outbound calls, retail partnerships, business to business and business to employee relationships and targeted neighborhood canvassing. • Identify prospective customers for Clearwire and develop creative selling strategies.• Educate sales team on Clearwire products and service offerings.• Establish and maintain strong community relationships on Clearwire’s behalf.Minimum Qualifications:• 3+ years of successful experience managing a highly dynamic and aggressive outside sales team.• 1+ years of experience in a high transactional business to consumer or small business sales environment. • Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales objectives.• Exceptional leader with passion and dedication for mentoring and coaching sales reps to success.• Out of the box prospecting abilities.• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, unstructured work environment.• Effective, professional communication and presentation skills.• Exhibits enthusiasm, high energy and a tremendous work ethic.• Ability to work flexible hours to participate in evening and weekend events.• Established professional network in local community preferred.• Knowledge of wireless, data communications, voice and telecommunications technology a plus.• Must have a valid state driver’s license.• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
