Direct Sales Summer Interns

Direct Sales candidates will acquire new and upgrade current residential subscribers by conducting door to door canvassing, appointments or referral solicitation in assigned territory/turf. Duties to include: Conducting in home sales presentations for all of Comcast's products. Preparation and execution of subscriber sales applications, arranging for installation dates, collecting and submitting payments for back balances or COD as required. Systematically review assigned territory/turf to insure that all dwellings are contacted on a prescribed and regular basis. Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities in an organized and timely manner. Follow up on all sales/customer service/installation issues surrounding field activity to insure customer satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have their own vehicle and be able to travel in the North Area footprint. We will attempt to place candidates as close as possible to their home location. There is no guarantee that we will be able to do this in all situations.
Job duties include being willing and able to work within an assigned area and make contact with both current customers and non-subscribers in order to sell all of Comcast's products and services. Must be willing to be outside in all types of weather. Hours of the job are between 12 pm to 9 pm."
EDUCATION: High school diploma or the recognized equivalent in work experience and self-study.
Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Vehicle which can be used for the job to travel to and around territories, and carry supplies and equipment.
