This position will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team in the New York region.Qualified candidates will be accountable for managing the independent retail and distributor channels and all partnerships for this region. Specific responsibilities include leading a team of sales/account managers, developing strategies to identify sales opportunities within the channel and maintaining relationships with distributors/retailers with the goal of meeting or surpassing company objectives. Assisting our clients in attaining their goals through proper utilization of the company's product and services. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing strategic support to the Area Sales Managers, specifically prospecting new partners and meeting sales forecasts.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5-8 years of large-scale sales and account management experience with demonstrated success in a fast paced, high growth, quality driven sales and service organization.This would include significant experience working with the consumer products and retail sectors. Candidate must have experience and demonstrated success in leading a sales team, managing large retailer accounts and implementing multi-partner consumer promotions and programs. A degree in business or related field and or previous broadcast/entertainment/wireless industry experience preferred. Candidates must possess outstanding organizational, analytical, communication and presentation skills and have a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams. Heavy travel (75%) will be required for this position.
