Our innovations have led to Emmy® Awards and hundreds of filings for US patents as we introduce new must-have technologies into the TV viewing experience.  We make a commitment to challenge, inspire and reward the people who make the DIRECTV vision come to life - Come join our winning team! Responsible for leading business to business channel marketing, communications, national training, development and curriculum design department for DIRECTV's  Sales organization.  Will develop business marketing programs to increase sales across channels,  assess organizational training and communication needs, develop training strategies, select and acquire new technologies, develop, implement and assess curriculum training and programs with third party partners and manage budgets, schedules, plans and related areas. Will be required to develop B2B communications and training vehicles that keep all of the channels in the loop as to changes with the DIRECTV product.

Requires 10 or more years developing and implementing large-scale sales/marketing/PR-related communications and training materials/programs in an ad agency and/or corporate environment. Call center management/training experience a plus.  Must exhibit a proven track record of taking marketing, training and communications and programs to the next level and be able to demonstrate creativity and a passion for sales and marketing. Must have a keen eye for design and be adept at presenting in front of large groups  with the ability to clearly and simply communicate complicated information.  In addition, must have proven experience managing staffs and large projects, including creative teams and working cross functionally within a large, complex environment.  A degree in communications, marketing or related field is preferred.

 

Individual must have the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced, action oriented environment with attention to detail and a creative flair.  Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and project management skills are required.  In addition, this position requires overnight travel and working extended hours as required.
