Small, innovative and fast-growing GSM Network Operator requires a Director of Network Services to provide hands on management of the engineering, operations and IT support areas of the organization.  The candidate needs to have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the GSM network with specific knowledge of the core switching network that includes a Nokia switch.  Must be knowledgeable of the integration of the network with back office support systems.

 

Primary Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of Engineering and Operations for the Network Provides support to Customer Service and Sales teams Manage and develop Network Services team

 

Knowledge areas required: Advanced Knowledge of 2G and 3G network elements and associated protocols including TCP/IP, ATM SS7 etc. Knowledge of the Core network elements including Nokia Switching and AIN networks. Experience with managing and developing IT support systems related to Network Services

 

Qualifications Minimum of 7 years experience with Engineering or Operations of a GSM Wireless Network including extensive hands on experience BSc in Engineering, Computer Systems or equivalent Knowledge of network support systems Excellent oral and written communications skills Experience in management and development of team concept between technical and non technical departments.

 

Salary package is commensurate with experience and includes health and dental benefits.
