Day Wireless Systems is the largest Motorola dealer and service provider on the West Coast and represents other major manufacturers for wireless technologies including two-way radio systems, wireless broadband networks, microwave, wireless telemetry and in-building distributed antenna systems. 

We currently have an opportunity for Director of Operations at our Headquarters facility in Milwaukie, Oregon.

The Director of Operations will maximize operations through the effective management of service activities including systems and equipment installation and repair:

 

Job Responsibilities include:

 

· Generation and achievement of revenue and profitability goals according to established company budgets and direction.

 

· Assigning, prioritizing and directing work activities of all Area Service Managers and Area Business Managers.

 

· Developing and monitoring operation and capital expenditure budgets for achievement of desired results. This includes full P&L responsibilities.

 

·  Jointly leading with Area Sales, Business and Operations Managers major customer projects to ensure accuracy, completeness, and satisfaction.

 

·  Assist in providing information required to develop customer estimates for communications systems sales or service.

 

·  Interface with corporate human resources to accomplish personnel activities as required including recruitment, employee counseling, or termination from employment.

 

·  Interface with the President and senior management team to accomplish all company goals, both present and future.

 

Education and Experience

The qualified applicant must possess 10 or more years experience in the wireless, electrical, electronic or computer service industry, 10+ years in management and staff development, contract negotiations skills, and demonstrated success generating growth.  Some higher education or vocational training specializing in electronics or business management required. Bachelor’s degree required.
