Summary:  Take all necessary steps to track work orders and technicians in the field utilizing a customized database in order to meet company and client goals.  To ensure that customer, supervisor and technician questions are answered on a timely and professional basis.  Post call responsibilties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

 Input and maintain an accurate computerized customer and work order database. Close out 100% work orders daily. Dispatch team goal on completion of job orders. Make sure technicians are following dispatch procedures and document those who are not to report to management. Handle customer questions, complaints and inquiries in an expeditious and professional manner.  Document appropriately. Contact customers to reschedule installs and notify technician. Notify technicians of any cancellations prior to the scheduled arrival time. Answer phone and two-way radio promptly and professionally. General office duties as assigned – i.e., faxing, copying, filing etc. Follow all dispatch policies and procedures. Record working hours accurately. Adhere to dress code policy – located in employee handbook. Carry out the company’s Core Values every day:

 

Education and Requirements:High school graduate or equivalent 2+ years general office experience required 1+ years data entry and dispatch preferred 1+ years customer service experience required Ability to communicate effectively with a non-confrontational, courteous and

professional manner.Basic math and reading ability (10th grade level) Must be able to multi-task work under deadlines Negative pre-employment drug test Criminal and MVR backgrounds meet company hiring criteria
