Division Assistant TAC Worldwide is currently looking for a Division Assistant in Amherst, NY. Job Description:Responsible for performing moderately complex secretarial and administrative duties involving independent judgment. Responsibilities include: composing routine correspondence and typing documents i.e. reports, letters, memos, etc.; editing correspondence for grammar, punctuation, wording and content and making changes as required; anticipating and preparing materials needed by manager for conferences, correspondence, appointments, telephone calls, etc.; establishing and maintaining filing/records system; responding to routine requests for information and referring more complex requests to appropriate staff member; and compiling data and performing basic calculations. Typically reports to Manager level or higher. Type correspondence, reports, lists and tabulations Edit grammar, spelling, punctuation, and document structure Update calendar/schedule for manager Coordinate manager’s appointments, travel arrangements and meetings Schedule facilities. Research and resolve problems. Aide manager in more complex tasks. Maintains logs, records and filing systems. Phone and mail duties. Responsible for providing administrative support. Perform diverse secretarial and administrative duties. Actual job duties and responsibilities may vary. Works under direct supervision. Work checked largely for progress toward completion of assignments. May guide others using established guidelines. Exercises judgment and discretion within established policies and procedures. Basic technical or administrative skills, requires functional guidance.
