Engineering Program Manager - Contract

Our services range from customized solution services focused within Oracle Applications and Technology, Custom Application Development, IT Strategy, ERP and CRM, Software Testing and Life Sciences Validation. We are currently looking for an Engineering Program Manager.

 

This is a 3-6 month contract in Sunnyvale, California.

 

The Engineering Program Manager will be responsible for program management activities pertaining to the development of Company’s premier Mobile devices.

 

Key responsibilities:

 Lead the development and completion of new products to specification, on time and within budget. Be responsible for leading a cross-functional, cross location teams from engineering, product management, operations, and customer support. Early identification and resolution of issues and continued focus on delivery of a good user experience are key. Your strong leadership, communications, and team-building skills are essential to the success of the team, and ultimately the end product. Geographic scope of this role: Global product development with particular emphasis on the European market.

 

Skills/Experience:

 At least 7 years experience in hardware and/or software program or project management Experience delivering mobile communication and wireless technologies to consumer products to market Strong knowledge of software, hardware, and manufacturing processes Vendor management experience Strong leadership and communications skills Highly flexible, ability to multi-task Problem solver - willing and able to make decisions when needed Team builder - ability to motivate and lead in a matrix environment The proven ability to lead diverse teams to deliver products to market, meeting program objectives. A significant working knowledge of hardware and software engineering technologies and development processes. Functional management experience is a plus.

 

Qualifications:

 

B.S. or higher degree in Engineering or related field 

 

Languages:

 

Fluent written and spoken English

Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
