Cox Job Summary:Our Field Network Technicians are responsible for the provisioning, installations, setup, test and maintenance of telephony, Commercial network, HFC, CATV and other equipment associated with plant facilities and distributions systems. Additionally, Technicians are responsible for performing on-demand and preventative maintenance on distribution networks. Technicians perform amp sweeps, check for forward and return signal transmission. Field Network Technicians conduct audits, inspect and document work following outside plant repairs, outages or failures.Qualifications:Cox Job Qualifications:Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent combined with a minimum of 1 year customer service experience; general knowledge of computer operation; strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills; ability to use 28 ft extension ladder and climbing equipment; ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Candidates must be flexible with work schedule. A Good driving record is a must.Previous experience is not required. We offer a paid training program.Cox Essential Job Functions:Candidates must also have the ability to work in an outdoor environment and in adverse weather conditions. Candidates should be advised that the position may involve climbing a ladder and/or utility pole.
