Financial Analyst-Accountant

HAFSD61595 Accountant - Analyst Our Client, a leader in its industry, is seeking an experienced Accountant who would like to perform more analytical work.  In this role, you would be working very closely with Senior management, including the CEO.Responsibilities: Assist the Controller with GL accounting.  Financial modeling and quantitative analysis of potential new product lines, bids, and acquisitions Evaluation of deals and venture arrangements with strategic partners Assist in the development of pro forma projections and budgets Develop and monitor manufacturing operation performance metrics Prepare executive memos and presentation materials Attend management meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes Analysis of the capital structure of the Company  and business segment profitability Preparation of monthly quarterly reports to the executive staff and financial advisors Research of industry related issues, including performance trends and market conditionsQualifications: Experience in accounting, finance, corporate strategy or consulting Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (accounting software a plus) Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skillsInterested candidates should send resumes in Word format to sdrew@hollisterstaff.com .
