Seeking a motivated software engineer with strong technical skills for the task of analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, validating, and certifying software for in IS95, CDMA2000, EV-DO, EV-DV, and UMTS technologies.  Responsibilities range from the development of device drivers, radio interface, call processing, power management, and to embedded application development.

 

Qualifications

 Solid knowledge of wireless technologies (IS95, CDMA2000, EV-DO, EV-DV, and UMTS)Strong C, C++ programming skills preferably in an embedded RTOS environmentGood knowledge of software development lifecycleExcellent coding, documentation, and debugging practicesMust have ability to debug complex hardware/software interactions in an embedded RTOS environment working alongside hardware design teamStrongly prefer experience with embedded RTOS development Strongly prefer experience with ARM processor architecture and ARM software developmentPrefer working knowledge of networking protocols relevant to a digital wireless environment such as Mobile IP, RLP, IP, TCP, UDP, and PPPPrefer working knowledge of Internet protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, and HTTP ProxyKnowledge of connectivity standards such as PCMCIA, CardBus, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB a plus

 

Education

 Minimum – 5 years related experience or a Master’s degreeCandidates must have a BS/MS EE/CE degree
