Fullfillment Service Technician

Receive work orders from supervisor including incomplete work orders from previous day and organize into efficient route. Review work orders and obtain necessary material from warehouse. Troubleshoot and repair reception problem from TV set to distribution or trunk line and obtain release signature on work order. Report completion and/or pertinent information to dispatch by radio or telephone and obtain update or change in work orders. Record signal levels. Repair or record signal leakage when detected. Check unused or recovered converters back into warehouse. Complete daily work sheet and turn in work orders to supervisor. Replenish vehicle inventory as required. Maintain tools and equipment in clean and working condition as prescribed. Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Perform daily installs and/or service calls. Trouble shooting to active device on RF and leakage problems. Perform other related duties as assigned. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Operational Competencies:
- Ability to use basic cable installation tools and hand tools
- Ability to perform job from high places (on poles and roofs)
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), various state and local codes including G.O. 95 and G.O. 128, (when applicable), and the policies and procedures for CATV installation activities
- Ability to read general system layouts from blueprints
- Knowledge of cable television products and services
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to communicate with customers in a clear and straight forward manner
- Ability to adapt to and learn about related future technology.- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Ability to work overtime as needed.

Training/Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
