Help Desk

Position: Computer TechnicianJob Description: Required Duties and Skills: On site computer help desk technician providing level 1 support. Candidate will work help desk tickets for various computer, printing, phone, Office application, and network related issues. They will provide hands on support for 100 users and telephone based support for remote users. Candidate needs strong troubleshooting skills and must be proficient in Windows XP professional and Windows 2000 Professional. Strong hardware knowledge of laptop and desktop computers is also necessary. Candidate will perform computer staging and application setup. Skills in Microsoft Office Professional, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, are necessary. Position requires constant interaction with the user community which will require strong customer relations and communication skills. Technician needs to be able to work independently. Skills with Active Directory and user account administration are preferred.
