Cox Job Summary:Our Home Service Technicians are responsible for installing, disconnecting, reconnecting, adding and/or changing video products and services at residential customer's homes. Our Technicians are responsible for working productively and safely by completing all requested work orders in a timely manner with limited supervision. Additionally, Technicians are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing information on all company products and by promoting a positive, professional image. Home Service Technicians have direct impact on the growth of our company by assuring the quality performance of the installation and technical services of all Cox Communication products.Qualifications:Cox Job Qualifications:Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent combined with a minimum of 1 year customer service experience; general knowledge of computer operation; strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills; ability to use 28 ft extension ladder and climbing equipment; ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Candidates must be flexible with work schedule. A Good driving record is a must.Previous experience is not required. We offer a paid training program.Cox Essential Job Functions:Candidates must also have the ability to work in an outdoor environment, adverse weather conditions, and be comfortable working in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Candidates should be advised that the position may involve climbing a ladder and/or utility pole.
